Modernizing the training process in information and communication technologies (ICT)

On November 6, 2008, at 3 pm, Central Scientific Library “A. Lupan” of ASM hosted Round Table “Modernizing the training process in information and communication technologies (ICT)” in the small Conference Hall (5A Academiei str.).

Agenda:

1. Issues concerning providing the national economy with ICT specialists
2. Studying computer science in undergraduate education- a safe track for professionals development
3. Professional standards for training specialists in ICT. Upgrading “The Nomenclature of specialities and professional training fields for personnel training in higher education institutions“.
4. Collaboration between higher education institutions and public and private institutions in the field of ICT personnel training.

The Round Table was attended by representatives of Ministry of Education and Youth, Ministry of Information Development and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Faculty deans, heads of departments, professors, representatives of ICT business are also invited.
