IDSI has approved CoARA Action Plan

On June 26, 2024, the Information Society Development Institute (IDSI) approved the CoARA Action Plan, focused on implementing CoARA (Coalition for Research Assessment Reform) commitments. The plan has been developed and approved following IDSI becoming a member of CoARA on October 26, 2023. CoARA Action Plan is actually the instrument via which the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment is implemented by CoARA signatories.

The approved Action Plan includes IDSI activities that aim to contribute to the implementation of the 10 CoARA commitments in the Republic of Moldova. It also aims to promote responsible research assessment at the national level. IDSI firmly believes in aligning its practices with European principles on research assessment and urges other institutions in the Republic of Moldova, first and foremost the bodies responsible for the evaluation and funding of national research, to join efforts in this endeavor.
