On February 10, 2017, the Information Society Development Institute obtained the ‘HR Excellence in Research’ award (HRS4R).
Since January 2014, Information Society Development Institute began the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. On 02.27.2014, ISDI director, dr. Igor Cojocaru, signed the Declaration of accession to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers and on 09.30.2016 the process was resumed by signing and submitting the new ISDI Declaration. On November 4, 2016 ISDI submitted to European Commission the Internal Analyses on the application of principles of the Charter and Code and the Action Plan for HRS4R implementation within the institute.
‘HR Excellence in Research’ award will help promote ISDI as a provider of a stimulating and favorable work environment. The award reflects our commitment to continuously improve our human resource policies in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, notably our commitment to achieve fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures.
The award implies many advantages, one of them is international visibility and transparency through recognition by the European Commission. Thus, "Human Resources Excellence in Research" will bring an added value both internally and externally, will present a number of benefits both for researchers and for research funding institutions.
