FP7 PICTURE project issues the 1st Newsletter

The first Newsletter of the FP7 PICTURE project: "Policy dialogue in ICT to an Upper level for Reinforced EU-EECA Cooperation" was published in November 2012. 

The Newsletter presents mainly the first findings and achievements of the project registered in the period of December 2011 – November 2012. Some of the most important results of the PICTURE project include: set up of the 3 working groups aiming at boosting the EU – EECA cooperation in ICT domain: Working group on Policy Dialogue; Working group on Components, Computing Systems and Networks and the Working group on Content Technologies and Information Management. Experts from 12 partner countries of the project, acting as members of these 3 working groups will meet for validation of the pilot actions at the Workshop, organized in Moscow, Russia, on November 28 – 30, 2012.

An article of the Newsletter presents  the success story of involvement of 2 ISDI staff (as well as executors in the PICTURE project ) - Igor Cojocaru and Anastasia Stefanita, in the development and promotion of the national Strategy “Digital Moldova 2020”, a significant policy document of the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Moldova, .
