During April 7-10, 2015 Information Society Development Institute (ISDI) was re-evaluated in the surveillance audit by the auditors of the Romania-Italy certification body "RINA SIMTEX OC", in order to maintain and improve the integrated management system for Quality - Environment - Occupational Health & Safety - Information Security.
Auditors found that ISDI staff has had a responsible attitude regarding the obligations imposed by the standards. A new version of the internal documents of the integrated system was appraised, given that, in the meantime, the International Standards Organization has issued a new version of ISO IEC 27001 - Information Security Management System.
Audit Team Leader, Director of the certification body RINA SIMTEX, IRCA auditor Eng. Razvan Ionescu mentioned at the closing meeting of the audit, that ISDI, having implemented the integrated management system in their organization has gained rich experience in terms of organizing internal processes in accordance with international standards and is now able to provide consulting and audit services to organizations that wish to enhance their performance by implementing and maintaining management systems based on ISO management standards requirements.
Based on the evidence collected, the audit team decided to recommend to Operative Certification Committee of the RINA SIMTEX OC to maintain the standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO/IEC 27001:2013.
The auditors have released recommendations for improvement, which were gratefully accepted by ISDI management.
