Modernization of educational process in the information and communication technologies (ICT)

        On November 6, 2008, 15:00 PM, in the Central Scientific Library “A. Lupan” of Academy of Science of Moldova (ASM), small room (str.Academiei, 5th) will take place a panel on "Modernization of educational process in information and communication technologies (ICT).

         Agenda:

1. The issue of ensuring the national economy with experts in the ICT field.

2. Study of Informatics in pre-university education – a safe path to have professionals in the field.

3. Professional standards of preparing specialists in the ICT field. Upgrading the Nomenclature of professional training areas and of majors for staff training in institutions of higher education.

4. Collaboration between institutions of higher education and public and private institutions in preparing specialists in the ICT field.

         Participants of the panel will include representatives of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), Ministry of Information Development (MID) and Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM), as well as deans of university faculties, chairs, professors and information technologies business representatives.
