Partnering event in Tartu, Estonia

During 2-5 December 2014, in Tartu, Estonia was held a partnering event of Moldavian and Estonian researchers regarding different research fields. From Moldova participated 11 researchers representing different research fields, such as: technologies; information society; ecology and geography; soil science, agrochemistry and soil protection; medicine and pharmacy; genetics, physiology and protection of plants; microbiology and biotechnology. The group from Moldova included researchers from the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, as well as representatives of business sector. The event was organised within the project “Development Cooperation Project Moldova-Research Horizon Plus”, supported by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implementing by the Estonian Research Council.
During their study visit, the Moldavian researchers participated at the “Conclusions of the 7th FP” conference where were analysed the results of Estonia participation at 7th FP of European Union. Also, the group visited the Estonian Genom Center and had “face to face” meetings with potential partners from Estonia. In the end, there was organised a workshop for Moldavian and Estonian researchers on the “Horizon 2020” topic.
Information Society Development Institute was represented by Anastasia Stefanita - responsible for international relations, who presented the ISDI results and it experience in national & international projects.
As the result of the event, the delegated persons from Moldova could discuss concrete project proposals with partners from Estonia.
