Sektor 3.0
During 21-22 May, in Warsaw, Poland took place the conference Sektor 3.0 (the third sector). The Conference "Sektor 3.0" is one of the elements of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation Program „Nowe Technologie Lokalnie” ("New Technologies Locally"). The aim of the program is to promote the use of modern information and communication technologies by NGOs, particularly at the local level.
More than 350 persons from Poland and abroad attended the conference. The main goal was to gather the representatives of public sector, NGOs, representatives of ICT companies and R&D area.
Overall were organized 24 seminars and 8 specialized workshops with 35 trainers and speakers. Also, special stands for presentation of technologies from different domains were set up.
The event is at its third edition and was organized by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation and Information Society Development Foundation from Poland, in collaboration with several ICT companies (Intel, Microsoft, Orange, Samsung etc.) under the auspices of Ministry of Administration and Digitization from Poland.
The event was attended by Anastasia Stefanita, responsible for international relations at ISDI, who is performing an internship (within the Lane Kirkland Program) at the Information Society Development Foundation from Warsaw, Poland.
